About me

I’m Glenn, an illustrator, designer and musician, currently living on the Gold Coast, Australia. I wasn’t always on the coast though, growing up near Parramatta in Sydneys west. I was lucky enough to be around in the 80’s and 90’s, being exposed to an incredible time of emerging art and music (the birth of the Grunge scene) and a lot of experimentation in the art world.

I came from a traditional art background, starting out with comic stylings (Todd McFarlane, Katsuhiro Otomo), then everything changed when I discovered surrealism (James Gleeson was a huge influence) and portraiture at the same time, after spending a lot of time in the NSW Art Gallery.

I decided to try a more commercially viable route and studied Graphic Design / Finished Art at the age of 16, which eventually led to multiple freelance projects, but also multiple day jobs to support my art addiction.

Fast forward to today and i’m only interested in one thing…creating art that feels like home and means something. I spent most of my childhood holidays on the coast, so it’s only natural that I represent the landmarks that made it so memorable for me, and other’s I wish I had the chance to see.

I’ve spent decades refining my art skills, to me it was worth every second, I hope you feel the same.
